I got these to house some older Nintendo handhelds. These are perfect for housing plus a few games. Love the magnetic closures!
Awesome bag, just as expected from Waterfield. Quality materials and craftsmanship, thoughtful design based on customer input, aesthetically pleasing. If you want a packable tote that is in the goldilocks zone between good capacity and durability as a bag and useful, quick packability for storage/packing in another bag, buy this one.
Side note - Waterfield absolutely slaps but I'm not sure why they recommend using WD-40 to maintain certain zippers. It's cleaner and more effective to use an actual light lubricant rather than a water displacer that happens to sort of lubricate, just my 0.02.
My husband loves this bag- so simple and clean cut. Holds his laptop and some papers or a notebook. His old bag was so bulky with a bunch of pockets and flaps and buckles. This is perfect. No giant logo.
It's a great, unobtrusive pouch. But it does not have the usual sweat-wicking mesh for the back pocket
Really like the compartments, just nice for everything I'd put in this travel accessory. I bought the brown leather version which looks even better in real life than what's shown on the website.
I have had several Waterfield bags over the past 15 years and this will be my favorite. Size is perfect and the hardware on the webbing is well thought out. This replaced a small bag backpack that ended up living in my car; too big to carry. This is a just right EDC bag that doesn’t scream tactical or “man-purse”. Well done!
I’ve purchased numerous items in the past and have always been satisfied but I’m so disappointed with this bag. Nothing with the quality but with the design of the bag. The top pocket area is too shallow and items fall out, the location of this pocket also at times hinders the access to the main storage area. The main storage are also could use more padding if storing an iPad. The outer pocket could be more secure to prevent items from falling out. As for the positives, it is very comfortable to carry and the overall size of the bag is perfect. Thank you, Mark
I love this bag. It’s roomy without the bulk. I just wish that it has a zipped pocket in the main compartment and a couple of pouches on the inner-sides(lotion, hand sanitizer)
My new crossbody bag will be a perfect travel accessory for upcoming trips to Europe and elsewhere this year. Plenty of room for essentials and more!
I like this piece a lot. Makes organization on plane very easy - just pull it from your carry on and everything you need is at your fingertips in the seat pocket in front of you.
I bought the Air Caddy to use with a carry on that has no dedicated laptop/tablet section. The reason I gave this 4 instead of 5 stars is I expected the tablet sleeve to be padded on both sides but it only has padding on the inside half. If anything, the padding should be on the outside to protect the tablet from bumps, etc., but it really should be padded all around for the most protection possible. Otherwise, it's great.
It is the ideal bag for my Mac & iPad. I like that it slides onto my carry-on handle. One minor adjustment would make it perfect if the bottle holder was slightly larger and tight with the 18oz Yeti. Build quality is great and made in the USA! I would definitely recommend it.
I've been debating a new messenger bag for a while, having always used Eastpak and never having an issue I was reluctant to leave the brand. I was looking at somthing a bit bigger to hold my large tablet and 16" laptop plus other work items and couldnt find one anywhere then i came across Waterfield. Even though I live in the UK I always buy made in USA items as they are better quality all round from my tools to my clothes and now my bag. My new Waterfield is amazing and I'm so glad I made the jump to this brand, a lot more expensive but the age old saying you get what you pay for was written for this brand. If like me you spend a while debating because of the price, don't be skeptical as they really are the best quality you will find. Keep up the good work guys. This will be my 5th product from Waterfield. I’m using it on a train journey through France to Spain and back to my home in England. It’s well made (a standard feature) but what really impressed me is the little pockets and places to tuck stuff in to.
Huge inside for a fairly compact bag. The back and straps padding are great, the bag feels lighter than it is due to how comfortable the strap feel is. Have taken it on a couple trips and has been very creative from a practical usability perspective. Only two small concerns in what I still see as a 5-star product: (1) the fit under a Delta A320 seat is a little tight and you might scuff the leather facing; and (2) the forward large pocket is big but the curvature of the bag limits the opening size - would be nice if it was a bit wider. Other openings are quite large and there are lots of usable spaces to tuck small and large items in.
This backpack is just high quality. I am super picky about certain products I buy. I took some time evaluating the market for backpacks and saw this one and immediately liked it. It is perfect for everyday use and is definitely a product that fits with a cool style. I was thrown off by the goldish/yellow color for the inside, but that was only in the pictures. It came in and I loved it right away. Great product, highly recommend.
I was eyeing this bag for a while since I have previously owned several Waterfield bags before. I watched the videos and looked at other people’s reviews and even emailed the support email with questions. Ultimately I decided on getting it because I got a promotion at work and decided to treat myself. This.bag.is.awesome! I don’t want to geek out too much but the zippered compartments are perfect for my charging cables and USB drives. I keep my Nintendo switch accessories/games in there too. It fits my work laptop, my giant iPad, two notebooks and still has room for more! I know this will last me a long time so if you’re on the fence like I was, go ahead and treat yourself to a quality product.
Love this design and backpack overall. Price is definitely up there but what you're getting is premium and worth every cent!! It's also built here in the US not somewhere else. So I appreciate that and will comtiue to buy more products from Waterfield!!
Doesn’t fit the pocket without rubbing on the corners of the device. Forget about storing the charger cable and any amount of games while having the case be completely closed offer any form of protection.
Fits my use case perfectly for storing cards and cash. Cards are easy to remove and stow. No more fumbling around trying to remove a card from something like a ridge wallet or traditional wallet card sleeve.
Awesome and super lightweight product. Fit and finish is awesome quality with attention to detail throughout.
